About the Role
The Phoenix Pro League is seeking an energetic PA Announcer to enhance the game-day atmosphere. The announcer will provide player introductions, in-game updates, and important announcements while maintaining a professional and engaging tone.
Requirements
Regular Season (9 hours per day):
Dates: June 20, June 27, July 4, July 11, July 18, July 25, August 1, August 8 (2026)
Staff Arrival: 11:00 AM
Games: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM (5 games per day)
Departure: 8:00 PM
Playoffs:
August 15, 2026 (4.5 hours): 12:30 PM – 5:00 PM (2 games)
August 22, 2026 (3 hours): 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM (Championship Game)
Pay Rate: $25 per game
Responsibilities:
Announce player introductions, team lineups, and substitutions.
Provide in-game updates such as fouls, scoring, and timeouts.
Deliver sponsor reads and promotional announcements as directed.
Maintain a professional and energetic presence throughout the game.
Qualifications:
Previous PA announcing or broadcasting experience preferred.
Strong vocal presence, clarity, and enthusiasm.
Ability to follow scripts and respond to live game action.
Professional demeanor and punctuality.
Availability: Must be available to work during the Phoenix Pro League season (June through the end of August).
